Vital by Vital Audio

Vital is a wavetable synthesizer with incredible features unlike any other free synths. It is often used as an alternative to a paid plugin called “Serum.” As somebody who uses both, although serum is all around a better VST, Vital does do some things better and is an absolute powerhouse, especially for free.

TyrellN6 by u-he

TyrellN6 is an analogue emulation synth that absolutely excels in 80s & 90s style tracks. It is made by u-he who have made incredible plugins such as “Diva” and “Repro” you can be assured that the quality of this plugin is incredible.

KiloHearts Essentials by KiloHearts

KiloHearts Essentials is a bundle with some incredible plugins that I personally use in almost every track. It features a full mixing suite, and various unique FX plugins

Serato DJ Lite by Serato

Serato DJ Lite is a free version of the Serato DJ mixing software. I use both Serato DJ Pro but used the Lite version for a long time, it has all the features you could need to get started, and is a great introduction into the world of DJing.

Audacity by Audacity

Audacity is a basic DAW which is perfect for making DJ intro edits, mashups, and much more. It is very limited in features from a production standpoint, however for what a DJ would need it for, it is by far the best free software.

Ultimate Vocal Remover 5 by Anjok07

As the name suggests, Ultimate Vocal Remover is the ultimate tool for removing vocals from tracks, but also for isolating vocals for mashups. It exports to lossless WAV & Flac formats, and also to MP3 for storage saving
